Sing-a-long Messiah solos

A scenario:

You are a part-time church organist/choirmaster in Advent/Christmas season. You also hold another full-time job to help pay for your church music career. So, what is your response to all this extra time?

Quite simple... When the North Suburban Symphony loses their bass soloist for this weekend's Sing-a-long Messiah say, "sure, I'll do it." Nothing lack last minute preparation, but it should work out fine.

And, if you must know... the performances are:

Saturday, December 9, 4:00 p.m.
St. Lawrence Episcopal Church
125 West Church, Libertyville, Illinois (click here for map)

Sunday, December 10, 4:00 p.m.
Gorton Community Center
400 Illinois Road, Lake Forest, Illinois (click here for map)

These are both north of Chicago, easily accessible from the Tri-State Tollway.

Suggested tax-deductible donations are
$10 Individual
$20 Family
$7 Seniors and Students
(donations are going to charity)

There was a pre-reservation for Messiah score rental but that is a little late now.
